Archkeyvoice
This concert-experiment plays on the intersections between old singing
practices within contemporary musical settings. With scores that date back to
the 10th Century, Adham Hafez sings live accompanied by electronic
drone scores that were composed by him.
The concert
moves between secular and sacred chanting, using words and sounds from
different eras and cultures.

This is Nox Jazz
Aided by
different states of inebriation, Adham Hafez performs an electro-jazz concert
that plays on dark aesthetics, as well as reenactments of famous Jazz singers.
Moving through memorable jazz numbers from the early 20th Century,
the singer here becomes a nocturnal bar-dwelling creature that seems as if it
was born out of the lyrics he/it sings
